helper has invited The Leopards to install The Big Thing, an installation of over a thousand peanuts and other offerings.  Each peanut has been marked with drawings and words using Sharpies and then suspended from the ceiling with thread.  In addition to the peanuts overhead, a collection of offerings is displayed on doormats on the floor.  Visitors are greeted with a stolen wreath adorning the front door.

The Leopards began working together earlier this year, a collective formed by a shared sense of loss caused by the anticipated departure of their friends and neighbors, Murray and Michelle Dwertman.  Members of the group live in the same apartment building in Brooklyn.  Striking only at night, The Leopards leave offerings around the Dwertman’s front door, sometimes breaking in to drink their wine, and steal from their apartment.

The peanuts have served as a canvas for love notes, poetry, and anarchy over the course of several months.  The first peanut offering was secretly installed as a count of breaking and entering into the Dwertman’s apartment.  After three weeks The Leopards did not want them to have it anymore and they took it back.
